A 31-year-old man arrested in a January drug bust, but who disappeared after being released on bail, has missed another court date.

Eric White Man Left was expected to be in Lethbridge provincial court on Thursday but again failed to appear. The matter was adjourned and a warrant issued for his arrest.

Lethbridge lawyer Art Larson said he did not know where his client was, but that White Man Left had previously been found living on the West Coast with a relative. He added he was ready to withdraw as counsel due to the lack of contact.

White Man Left was originally released on bail Jan. 30 and ordered to follow several conditions, including he attend court.

He faces charges of drug possession, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000, and three counts of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.

Following an investigation into drug trafficking in the downtown area, police searched an apartment building in the 1200 block of 4 Avenue South on Jan. 18 and seized more than $8,000 cash, 110 fentanyl pills, and a small amount of oxycodone.
