Local musicians are rallying to support a Lethbridge woman left paralyzed by a workplace accident.

On Oct. 21 they’ll be performing at a fundraiser for Angela Entz, helping her make a down payment on a wheelchair-accessible home. She suffered a broken neck, spinal cord injury and a broken leg when a large steel frame fell on her while at work.

The event, set to start at 3 p.m. at Legends, will also include a silent auction. Lethbridge performers lined up to take part include Scotch Whiskey Limousine, Keith Woodrow, Oliver Wolff, Dory and the Weathermen, Coda, Uncovered, Good Time Charlie, Band of Brothers and Quick Draw.

As well as turning out for the event, organizers say southern Albertans are also encouraged to donate an auction item or come by with a cash donation. For updates, they can check a Facebook page, Angela Entz Fundraiser.
