An early Merry Christmas to local rock music fans.
A four-pack of hard rock bands – Shinedown, In This Moment, One Bad Son, and 10 Years – will be heading to the Enmax Centre in Lethbridge on April 4 as part of the Derailed 2018 tour.
Shinedown, who have played Lethbridge before (opening for Kiss on July 10, 2013), are well known for their string of hits on the rock charts. Songs such as “Cut The Cord,” “Second Chance,” “Sound Of Madness,” and “Diamond Eyes” have all been staples on modern rock radio, in large part to singer Brent Smith’s stand out vocals. Shinedown are also well-known for their live performances.
In This Moment, who released their latest album “Ritual” this past summer, are known as a cross between metal and alternative, as well as for singer Maria Brink’s piercing vocals.
One Bad Son has a fan base in the city and most recently played Lethbridge with a show at Average Joe’s on Oct. 29, while 10 Years just released the band’s eighth studio album, “(How to Live) as Ghosts.”
Tickets for Derailed 2018 go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. They will be available online at http://www.enmaxcentre.ca, by phone 403-329-7328, or in person at the Enmax Centre box office.
