Police seek owner of jewelry that authorities suspect was stolen

On March 12, 2015, police seized a diamond ring valued at more than $3,000, a gold earring and costume jewelry pendant. The items were located inside a container in the trunk of a car. According to police, the items are believed to have been stolen, and attempts to identify the rightful owner have been unsuccessful to date.
In order to claim the property, the owner will be required to describe the container the jewelry was in and provide proof of ownership, such as receipts or an insurance appraisal.
