Cardston RCMP releases composite sketch as police look for information surrounding reported kidnapping and sexual assault

Cardston RCMP officers are seeking the public`s help in identifying an individual in a kidnapping and sexual assault investigation. The Cardston RCMP has released a composite sketch of a man as police seek information on a reported kidnapping and sexual assault.
Officers are looking for the public’s help in identifying an individual in relation to the investigation of a June 3 incident, which occurred at approximately 11 p.m. outside Cardston High School.
According to the RCMP, a dark-coloured van pulled up to a young woman, and two men took her into their vehicle and drove to a remote location. During the incident, police say one of the men sexually touched the woman. Once at a location, the woman fought her way out and fled on foot, according to police, as the RCMP?added the woman was unharmed and reunited with her family.
The vehicle has been described as an older, dark, navy-blue van, with rectangular headlights and fog lights, with the passenger side one burnt out. Its back windows were tinted, and it has a cracked windshield on the passenger side where a rock chip was. Police added there is a silver chrome stripe alongside of van.
One of the men has been described as wearing a reddish-coloured ball cap, with longer black hat under his hat. Police added the description of the First Nations man also included a longer nose, a smaller frame, a five-o-clock shadow and lighter skin.
The second man has been described as being fairly large, roughly 5’10” and about 280 pounds with really dark skin and short hair. He was also described as being clean shaven, wearing a red/burgundy ball cap backwards, a long- sleeved black shirt with a distorted picture on it, blue jeans and a shiny, black dress belt. Police added the man was described as being between approximately 19-25 years old.
