A Lethbridge man has been reported missing in British Columbia, after another city man was found dead Sunday.
According to the Vernon RCMP, the body of 32-year-old Shane Letkeman of Lethbridge was found Sunday afternoon, underwater in Kalamalka Lake near Cosens Bay. Police added an autopsy confirmed Letkeman’s death was not suspicious. The investigation has now been turned over to the B.C. Coroner’s Service, according to the RCMP.
During the police investigation, it was determined Letkeman was last known to be with 23-year-old Curtis Wilson.
Now, police are looking for Wilson, who was reportedly last seen with Letkeman and another man on Saturday in Vernon.
A black Chrysler 200 car with an Alberta licence plate associated to Wilson was found near the location where the body of Letkeman was discovered.
Since the family of Wilson reported the man missing, RCMP added aircraft, boats and ground searchers have been deployed in the search.
Wilson, is six-feet tall and weighs 160 pounds and has dark, brown hair. Police added Wilson also has two distinctive star tattoos on either side his chest and other tattoos on his arms and chest. He was last seen wearing hightop red sneakers, silver-coloured shorts, a black T-shirt and a red baseball cap.
