BEATRICE KIDD
1928 ~ 2013
Beatrice Lewis Kidd was born on December 2nd, 1928 in Toronto, Ontario. She passed away peacefully at 84 years of age in Lethbridge, Alberta.
“Our Wonderful Mom”
A life well-lived is a precious gift
Of hope, strength, and grace
From someone who has made our world
A brighter, better place.
It’s filled with memories sweet and sad, With smiles and sometimes tears With friendships formed And good times shared And laughter throughout the years.
A life well-lived is a legacy
Of joy, pride and pleasure,
A loving, lasting memory
Our grateful hearts will treasure.
It is with joy and admiration that we celebrate the life of our dear mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Beatrice attended St.
Clements Private Girls School while growing up in Toronto. She was a devoted wife who was married to Gordon Kidd, the “love of her life”
for forty-nine memorable years. She cherished family times at Wasaga Beach in Ontario and enjoyed taking her children to the Canadian National Exhibition. After moving out west to Edmonton with her family, she worked for Grand & Toy as an Office Manager. She supported and encouraged her children and grandchildren in their many activities, clubs, sports, educational, and career endeavors. She was a passionate hockey fan who relished the opportunity to cheer on her team. Many of her most fulfilling moments were attending family celebrations and sharing precious time with her family in Kananaskis Country or as she often reiterated, “God’s Country”. She relished her travel adventures and experiences to Greece, England, Scotland, Alaska, Hawaii and the Caribbean. Bea had friendships that spanned the globe! She could simply “light up a room” with her smile, charisma, and bubbly personality. Her “love of life” embraced by her caring ways, humor, and compassion for others were her greatest gifts. She left a lasting legacy for family and friends to forever treasure.
Beatrice’s family would like to express their appreciation to her dear friends at Martha’s House, the doctors and nurses at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital, and staff at St. Michael’s Lethbridge PARP Center, for the special care and attention given to our mother.
Beatrice will be lovingly remembered by her son, William Kidd (Elaine
Ford) of Sherwood Park, Alberta, two daughters, Linda Solomon
(Sheldon) of Lethbridge, Alberta and Karen Dumontel (Joe) of Brooks, Alberta; five grandchildren, Nicole, Stuart (Tina), Danielle (Robin), Michelle (Greg), Ryan (Hailey), great grandchild Dominick; brother-in- law Jim Kidd and many nieces and nephews. Beatrice was predeceased by her husband Gordon, parents Jim and Laura Duncan, sister Dorothy, brother Norman, and niece Gloria.
Upon her wishes, a Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 6th, 2013 at MARTIN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta.

Ron Chizmazia, born on November 9, 1940, beloved husband of the late Judy Chizmazia, sadly passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013.
Ron is survived by his daughter Jodi (Allen) Klassen and their children Blaine (Andrea), Reid, Jeff and Robyn, and his son Mike
(Charity) and their children Brayden, Brodi, Keegan, Jade and Harlee, his mother Vilma Chizmazia; sisters Beatrice (Glen) Steele, Eileen
(Stewart) Ford, Peggy and Jamie (Reg) Kucey, brother-in-laws Ron
(Donna) Siemens, Rick (Dorothy) Siemens and all of his nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his father Jim Chizmazia, mother and father-in-law Jake and Kathy Siemens and sister-in-law Jean Sampert.
His kids called him Upya and his grandkids called him Granpa. It was evident that his grandchildren held a special place in his heart. In his younger years Ron traveled the rodeo circuit. He was a bull rider and rode bareback. While in Texas, he went to school to become a farrier.
Ron grew up in Readymade where he farmed and fed cattle for many years. He worked hard and had a tremendous amount of respect for people who did the same. Ron was well known for the size of his hands. When he would give someone a handshake they often did a double take.
Ron loved sports, whether he was participating in them or just watching them on TV, when the Calgary Stampede was on, you knew not to phone or stop by in the evenings because he was glued to the TV, watching rodeo highlights.
In the past year, Ron enjoyed travelling to Brazil and Argentina on Farm tours. Ron will truly be missed by his family and friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Winder, Dr. Zielke, Dr. Low and the nurses for their excellent care of Ron.
A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held at the READYMADE COMMUNITY CENTRE, Readymade, Alberta at 2:00pm on Friday, June 21, 2013. A private family graveside service will be held prior to the Celebration of Ron’s Life.

SHOUTING, EDDIE JR. “LOBOY”
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Eddie Shouting Jr. “Loboy” on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the age of 46 years. Loboy was born in Cardston, Alberta on October 3, 1966 to Odile and the late Eddie Shouting Sr. He will be sadly missed by brother, Marvin (Sandra); sisters, Georgette (Danny), Kathy, Melanie
(Malcolm) and Tamara; his adopted children Freed and Bebe; and nieces and nephews whom he loved unconditionally and vice-versa – Arlene (Cleve); Troy (Skye); Kandyce; Gina (Nathan); Daisy (Alec); Tyne; Joe; Tasha (Zachary); Velvet, Kristal, his Lil’ Man “Ed” and his great nieces and nephews. Uncles Brent (Sherry) Chief Body, Charles
(Linda) Shouting; aunts, Lorraine Chief Body, Jennifer Chief Body & Yvonne Shouting.
Loboy received his education in Cardston, Fort Macleod, Saipoyi School and St. Mary’s. When he was younger he assisted his dad in the plumbing and heating trade; and later developed a niche for the carpentry trade and at the time of his passing was a self-employed contractor. He also worked as a firefighter with Alberta Forestry and Wild Land Firefighters, a skill he enjoyed as it allowed him to spend time with friends. In his past time, he enjoyed listening to rock and roll music, especially AC/DC; in addition to listening to music he enjoyed going to rock concerts and enjoyed reminiscing about the ones he attended. We will all surely miss Loboy and although he used this quote to remember a very good friend of his, we want to remember him by using his own quote, “We are going to miss you Loboy, go fight that fire in the sky, till we meet again!”
A Family Service will be held at 5:00 P.M., on Friday, June 21, 2013 at EDEN’S FUNERAL HOME – 2424 5th Ave, Fort Macleod, AB, followed by a wake service at Eddie’s residence at 7:00 P.M.
