PAHARA
SHANNON RAE PAHARA fought the brave battle of Lupus and Sjogren’s Disease and succumbed on Friday, November 15th, 2013 at the age of 43 years.

her dad, Dennis Pahara, mom, Carol Dancoisne and Step-dad Dave Dancoisne, one sister, Cindy Pahara, one brother, Clint “Kimbo” (Dawn) Pahara, her Nana, Lillian Pahara, Grampa and Gramma Peter & Lena Martens.
Her kind and compassionate heart at a young age led her to Africa, where she worked with handicapped children. Her time there was cut short when she developed Malaria, which eventually lead to Lupus and Sjogren’s Disease. She had a lot of enthusiasm, creativity and a quirky sense of humour. Shannon wrote well-thought poetry to express her feelings. She also contributed (sometimes) controversial articles to the Lethbridge Herald, prompting people to think “outside the box”. She was also a big supporter of the Native community.
