HANNA COX
APRIL 20, 1949 ~ DECEMBER 14, 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my dear wife & our dear mom, Hanna Cox, on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Unit, at the age of 64 years, with her family by her side.
Hanna was born April 20, 1949 in Nuremburg, Germany to Gerhard and Margarete Moch, the oldest of seven children. They immigrated to Canada in 1954, first residing in the Town of Coaldale and thereafter moved onto a farm in the Monarch area in 1962. She married the love of her life Don on December 5, 1969. Hanna and Don were blessed with three children – Quinton, Trisha and Breanne. One of her most joyous occasions was the birth of her dear grandson Kingston on November 14, 2011. Don and Hanna lived in the Park Lake area in the early years of their marriage, this being where they raised their family. Later they built Hanna’s dream home on the west side where many years of fun & laughter has been shared with family and friends.
Hanna worked many years at Marshall Wells and then became a stay -at-home mom. Her kids were her pride and joy and she was the most amazing devoted parent. She instilled in her children to be hardworking, to be kind to all, to have fun and to enjoy every precious moment in life. Her greatest joy was her grandson Kingston whom she adored and just loved to cuddle, hug, kiss and play with him.
Hanna loved knitting, sewing, gardening, camping, shopping, her time spent in their Havasu home, Vegas trips, “chocolate” but mostly enjoyed being with Don and spending time with Quinton, Trisha, Breanne, Kingston, family and friends. Her humour was extraordinary and she was so unselfish with her focus always on others around her. She was truly a special “angel” and no one was more sweet, generous, sincere, kind, thoughtful, loving, caring, gentle and patient. She dealt with her illnesses very courageously and there were never complaints of pain or suffering.
Left with her memory is her loving husband Don, her precious children Quinton, Trisha & Breanne, her son-in-law Kostas, her precious grandson Kingston, her dear mom Margarete; her brothers and sisters – Peter & Linda Moch,, Helen & Joe Meszaros, Harry & Sue Moch, May Olshaski, Debbie Byrne and Robert Moch along with all their children & grandchildren; her brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws – Monty Cox, Kathryn & Leslie Delparte, Sheldon & Pat Cox, Sharon Cox, Karen & Jim Bagshaw, Gail & Bill Toth and Lee Cox along with all their children and grandchildren.
Hanna was predeceased by her father-in-law Lemond Cox, mother-in-law Genneal Cox, her nephew Duane Moch, her Dad Gerhard Moch and her brother-in-law Greg Olshaski.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 12:30pm- 1:00pm on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4th Street South, Lethbridge; a Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm, with Reverend Glenda Wert officiating.
Hanna will be so sadly missed and so lovingly remembered by all her family and friends. We love you so very much our beautiful “Hanna” “Mom” and there are no words to describe how much we will miss you. You certainly were the best wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, daughter, sister, sister-in -law, aunt and friend anyone could wish for. We will miss your smile and your cheerfulness, your love and your guidance. Our beautiful memories of you will remain deep in our hearts forever and our tears will remind us of our special love for you.
Those who wish may make a memorial donation in Hanna’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317-10 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 2T4 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Box 2211, Lethbridge, Alberta T1K 4K7.

He always followed his heart. Jurrie’s immediate family meant the world to him. He had a devote loyalty to his employees and customers. Kim Marose
1955 – 2013
It is with great love and sorrow in our hearts we announce the
passing of Kim Sharmaine Marose, our wonderful wife, mom and grandma on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, surrounded by the love of her family.
A private burial service will be held at the Taber Memorial Garden prior to the funeral service.
The Funeral Service will be held at Knox United Church, 4929 – 50 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Arij Langstraat officiating. Condolences may be forwarded by visiting our website at http://www.southlandfuneral.com.
Kim lives on in our hearts and memories and will be lovingly missed by her husband Marvin, her high school sweetheart. The chapters they shared in life showed the love and devotion they shared for forty years. She is also survived by and going to be greatly missed by her son Chad Marose of Taber, daughter Coralee (Keith) Lubbers of Brooks, special granddaughters Taylor, Jordynn and Kelsey, her mom Gladys Dougan, sister Kelly (Brad) Peake and family, mother-in-law Dora Marose, brother-in-law Darrel Marose and family and sister-in-law Norma (Delace) Rombough and family.
She joins in heaven her dad George Dougan, father-in-law Doug Marose, sister-in-law Bonnie Marose and nephew Craig Rombough.
Kim was employed right out of high school, with Louis Bembi at Quill Stationers. Then in 1975 she was employed by Taber Medical Center, which was the job she did until the present time, other than taking a few years off to have her family. The doctors and co-workers became really good friends and they were a great support for Kim during her courageous fight with cancer, especially Janine and Arlene.
Mom will always be remembered for her kind and caring personality. She enjoyed endless hours creating the special memories we all hold dear. Nothing was more important to her than her family. She was always proud of us and there to cheer on our accomplishments. She also thanked God everyday for her treasured granddaughters. The memories they have of their grandma, rocking them to sleep, painting their nails, reading to them, singing you are My Sunshine and dancing around the kitchen with them to Love Story are many of the memories they will always remember.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Kim¹s name may be made directly to the Knox United Church, 4929 – 50 Avenue, Taber, Alberta T1G 1H7 or to the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation, Jack Ady Cancer Centre, 960 – 19 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 1W5.
