Ann immigrated to Canada on July 29 1956 from the Netherlands with her parents and siblings and met her soul mate and the love of her life Leo, on that very day. Ann & Leo married on November 14, 1959, and embarked on a love story that has spanned almost 55 years. Besides her loving husband Leo, Ann is survived by her children; Marg (Jim) Semple, Arnie (Carol) Bergen- Henegouwen, Char (Bob) Fisher as well as her grandchildren Kelsey (Murray) Wemp, Katie (Steve) Shier, Connor Semple, Amber Fisher & Dakota Fisher. Above all else, Ann cherished her family and friends, and those who were honored to have known and love her benefited greatly from her generosity and strength of spirit. She was a loving wife and best friend to Leo, devoted Mom, doting Grammy, and ever loyal sister and friend to her large extended family and many friends. In recent years, Ann & Leo spent happy winters in Apache Junction, Arizona where they developed many more lasting friendships. We are all so blessed to have had her in our lives, and will miss her beautiful smile more than words can say.
