BUELLA HILDA TUDOR , beloved wife of the late Elza Tudor, passed away in Lethbridge on Friday, March 6, 2015 at the age of 100 years. Funeral arrangements to be announced once completed.

It is with heavy hearts and also with thanks for a long and healthy life, the family of IRENE CHABAY announce her passing after a brief stay at the Chinook Regional Hospital and St. Michaels Palliative Care Centre from complications following a number of heart attacks at the age of 91 with her children nearby.
Cremation at her request. A Memorial Service will be held at ST. ANDREW PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 1818 ­ 5th Avenue South, Lethbridge, Alberta on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend L. Hankinson officiating. Interment will be a private family Service. In memory of Irene, If so desired, donations may be made to the St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre, 1400 9 Ave S, Lethbridge, AB T1J 4V, or to a charity of choice.

DICKINSON
In the afternoon on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, LOIS DOREEN DICKINSON fell asleep peacefully in death at 81 years. From a young age, Lois had strong faith as one of Jehovah¹s Witnesses and it was this that brought her great comfort in her last days. Lois was born in Prince Albert on October 6, 1933. It was here that Lois met the love of her life, James William Dickinson. In grade one, James pushed her down the stairs because he liked her so much, and they never parted again. They were married on August 30, 1952, surrounded by friends and family. Lois was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to many. She is survived by her daughter Jan Rolston (Douglas Rolston); her grandchildren Chantelle Linnea Bowie (Mark Bowie), Chayney William Rolston (Melissa Rolston), Scott Douglas Rolston (Katelynn Rolston) and great-grandchildren Éilidh Niamh Bowie, Finn Jackson Ian Bowie, Soloman Kerry Rolston and soon to be baby boy Rolston. She is also survived by her daughter Dodi Trowbridge (Darcey Trowbridge) her grandchildren Brittany Lynne Fox (Jeffery Fox) Bryce James Trowbridge (Anielka Trowbridge) great-grandchildren Afton Ryder Fox and Krew Hendrix Fox, as well as sister Verna McCandless (Darwin McCandless), niece Merlynn (Randy) King and nephew Brad McCandless. She is predeceased by her loving husband James William Dickinson, her son James (Jimmy) William Dickinson and her parents Louis and Doris Larock. Lois had confidence and faith from the bible that there will be a time when all can live in peace. Psalms 37:11. She loved sharing this message with others. Lois requested that there be no funeral service held, however memorial donations can be made to the WATCH TOWER BIBLE AND TRACT SOCIETY OF CANADA, P.O. Box 4100, Georgetown, Ontario, L7G 4Y4. She will be missed by many; we love you grandma.

GAEHRING
James Allen Gaehring of Lethbridge passed away peacefully at St. Michael¹s Health Centre on March 1, 2015 at the age of 76 years. James was born in Faith, Alberta on October 12, 1938 to Albert and Mary Gaehring. He was the youngest of four children and was raised on farms in the Foremost and Turin areas.
In his adult years, James worked at National Salvage and Vazari Steel before operating his own business, “Jim¹s Concrete and Fencing” for over forty years. Jimmy was happiest in the Porcupine Hills where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors with his friends and family. James is survived by three sons, Darren, Bill (Maureen) and Terry (Cindy) all of Lethbridge; Grand-children, Tyson and Jack Gaehring and Jared Gaehring, all of Lethbridge, one brother, Norman Gaehring of Calgary as well as his sons¹ mother, Karren Gaehring of Rimbey and sister-in-law Pat Cook of Airdrie. He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Mary Gaehring, sister Lorraine and brother Donald. A celebration of Jim¹s life will take place in the fall in the Porcupine Hills. Donations may be made to a charity of one¹s choice. The family would like to thank the staff at Chinook Regional Hospital and St. Michael¹s Palliative Care and Dr. Mona Cassis for all their care for James. “The beer clouds have rolled in for the final time boys so have a cheers and think of Jimmy.”

Our amazing and beautiful mother, grandmother, and great-grand mother ROSELLA “ROSE” KRAJEWSKI, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital with her family by her side. LINDA MAE WIEST
1954 ~ 2015
Linda Mae Wiest of Lethbridge, formerly of Enchant, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the age of 60 years, leaving behind her boyfriend, Ed Adams. Linda lived most of her life in Enchant, moving to Lethbridge a year ago, to reside at Columbia Assisted Living. In Enchant, Linda always enjoyed spending time with the seniors and loved nothing better than going for coffee to the local restaurant or to someone¹s home for a visit. She loved family gatherings and holidays and was famous for her chocolate chip and Dad¹s cookies. “Missy” was Linda¹s pride and joy and she dearly loved her little dog. Linda faced many challenges throughout her life, things were not always easy for her, but she always faced each new challenge with a positive attitude. Her big smile, hugs and kisses will sadly be missed by all who knew her, or even to those who had just met her. She was a people person! Besides her boyfriend Ed, she is survived by her dad Cecil (Louise) Wiest; sister Judy (Duff) Dunsmore; brother Ken (Judy) Wiest; nieces and nephews Tracy (Jessica), Joline and Paxton Dunsmore, Steve (Kim), Pierce, Tyra and Jadyn Dunsmore, Craig (Bobbie) and Mikayla Dunsmore, Jeff (Kim) Wiest, and Kimberly Wiest (Sean Merkl). Linda was predeceased by her mom Olivia Wiest and grandparents Clarence and Edith Wiest and Rasmus and Rakel Hobberstad. MARIA SCHNITZER
1918 ~ 2015
Mrs. Maria Marta Schnitzer (Pazniakova) of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Kazimierz Schnitzer, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the age of 96 years. Maria was born in Kalmykow, Russia on August 12, 1918. At the age of 6 months her father, an officer in the Czar¹s Cossack Guard, was executed by the Bolsheviks. Her mother Paula Broskowiak died from pneumonia when Maria was 2 years old. Her brother Bogdan died in 1928 at the age of 14 by accidental drowning. Raised by her grandparents, she left home at 16 and worked as a cook and waitress in the mining town of Dundas. Moving to Stalingrad (Moscow) in 1938, she escaped during the German siege of 1943. She was captured and taken for slave labour at a German farm where she met her husband Kazimierz, also a captive slave labourer. At the end of the war they were sequestered at a refugee camp in the French quadrant of occupied Germany this is where their son Joseph was born. After 4 years they were allowed to immigrate to Canada in 1950, landing in Halifax in May and carrying on to Lethbridge, AB by CP rail. 1950 was and is the coldest winter on record in Western Canada and this is when they began their two year contract as farm workers to pay for their passage. For 26 years Maria worked as a custodian for the Public School Board, mostly at the old Westminster Elementary school, until her retirement in 1983. Mary was predeceased by ŒKaz¹, her husband of 65 years. She is survived by her daughter Helen Soucie; sons Edward and Joseph (Gayle); also left behind are three grandchildren Christina, Janine and Jason (Sonia); and 3 great-grandsons Kaz, Boden and Kaleb. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at 11:00 am on Monday, March 9, 2015 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 ­ 4 Street South, Lethbridge, followed by a Graveside Service at 11:30 pm in the Mountain View Cemetery. Ogden, Elizabeth “Betty” Katharine

The sweetest woman we ever knew, Betty Ogden passed away on Tuesday March 3, 2015 at the age of 81. Betty will be reunited with Gordon her husband of 64 years who passed away just a short ten weeks ago. Betty will be greatly missed by her seven children Valerie Stevenson (Craig), Veronica Clay (John), Janie Walton (Greg), Connie Adams (Gary), Barbara Blumell (John­ deceased), Ramona Price (Richard) and Donald Ogden; 26 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren. Betty was born in Taber AB, to Arthur and Evelyn Kemper. While still in her childhood Betty experienced the loss of her father and adored younger brother, Donald. Betty was also predeceased by her mother Evelyn and step father Lyle Danforth. Betty married Gordon February 12, 1951 and devoted her life to her husband and family. Betty was the quiet nurturer and backbone of the family. Nothing was more important to her than being a good wife and mother and she was cherished by her family. Betty is adored for her kind and caring nature and unconditional love. Betty had a way of making everyone feel welcome in her home and she loved it when family and friends stopped by for a visit, which they often did. It has been an honor and privilege for her children to continuously be by Mom¹s side caring for her the past three months. Betty is also survived by her siblings June Hartley (Wayne), Roy Danforth (Karen) and Dan King (Marlene). Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway¹s Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle NW) Sunday, March 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Patricia “Pat” Kaszuba of Lethbridge, Alberta, beloved wife of Alf Kaszuba, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the age of 71 years. A fun loving, devoted wife, mother of five, stepmother of three, grandmother of twenty-one, and great friend, Pat was born in 1943 in Victoria, BC to Thomas and Dorothy Peters. After a rewarding and varied career, Pat enjoyed her retirement years with her loving husband, Alf, as well as with her beloved golden retriever, Jessie “The Golden Girl”, and pursuing her passions of travel, gardening, and sports (BC Lions). Besides her loving husband Alf, Pat is survived by three daughters Ingrid, Maureen (Bill), and Heather (Brett); two sons Wayne and Don (Bobbie); three stepchildren Ian (Heather), Jill (Al), and Glen (Janet); twenty-one grandchildren Ryan (Konya), Alex, Jared, Kyle, Josh, Trista, Kaitlyn, Scott, Mark, Blake, Jack, Michael, Brandon, Willow, Xander, Joel, Sara, Hayden, Katie, Andrew, and Nathan; three brothers Jim, Ed (Sondra), and Kelly; good friends Diann “Toodie” (Jim) Wallace and Shirley Nagourney; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families, and her many great friends.
