Denise Lynnette (Willetts) Morrison

October 27, 1961 –

October 8, 2017

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving mother Denise Lynnette (Willetts) Morrison. Denise passed away peacefully at Chinook Regional Hospital with her children by her side.

Denise was a very creative and talented artist, and a free spirit. Anyone who knew her will say that she was a loving, kind, and compassionate person. She accomplished many things in her life, but as she would say, the most important job she had was being a mother. Denise’s children brought great joy and meaning to her life. That joy was amplified with the arrival of her grandchildren whom she cherished dearly. Denise will be greatly missed by her family and those whose lives were touched by her.

Denise is survived by her father, Walter Willetts; children, Rick Morrison, Stacey Morrison (Dallas Langworthy) and Ken (Erika Morrison); grandchildren, Alexis and Ryker Morrison; sisters, Lorrie Loewen, Colette (Klaus Beck) and Michelle Willetts, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, her beloved friend Karen McKay, and many others.

Denise was predeceased by her beautiful mother, Norma Willetts.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.

In honour of Denise’s life, donations can be made to the Lethbridge Public Library, 810-5 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 4C4.
