JOHNSON, Barry Richard July 30, 1953 – October 30, 2017
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Barry Richard Johnson. Barry was born in Claresholm, Alberta and resided his entire life in Stavely, Alberta. Left to mourn his passing is his wife Connie and his beloved daughter Kristina; he is also survived by his brother Bernie Johnson; sister Wendy McAuley – niece Susan and family, nephew Noel (Lindsay) and family; mother- in- law Carol Bonetti; brother-in-law Tony Bonetti; and sister-in-law Brenda England (Dean) and niece Emma.
Barry was pre-deceased by his parents Evereth and Evelyn Johnson; brother Brian Johnson; great-nephew Bryce Bosma; and father-in-law Frank Bonetti. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Stavely Community Hall at 2:00 pm with Pastor Stefan Ulrich presiding. Madeline Mary Smith (Wutzke)
February 18, 1934 – October 27, 2017
After a courageous battle with cancer, Madeline Mary Smith will be remembered and remain in the hearts and memories of those she leaves behind: Husband and best friend Gerald “Jerry” Smith, brother Wayne Johnston (daughter Jennifer), daughter Mona, and sons Darrell and Dean (Angie). She will be dearly missed by her six grandchildren: Dana, Michael (Jennifer), Sean, Taylor (Allie), Danielle (Rick), and Nadean (Kyle); Step-grandchildren: Ryan (Janice) and Bradley (Becky); As well as great granddaughter Fleurie, great step-grandchildren Keira, Avery, Casey, and Lauren; And many nieces, nephews and friends.
Madeline was predeceased by her parents James Oliver “Oli” & Ina Bell Johnston and her first husband John Robert Wutzke.
A celebration of life will be held at the Lethbridge Legion on Saturday November 4th in the NE Hall from 2-4pm.

BETTY ANNE ROBINSON (née Chomicki), beloved wife to Garry, passed away at St. Michael’s Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the age of 75 years.
Betty is survived by her dear children Carey (Dwight) Yanke and Rochelle (Kevin) Kasperski and grandchildren Jon and Sarah. She is also survived by her sisters Gladys (John, deceased) Orich and Judy (Ray) Bouchard, brother John (Laura) Chomicki, sisters-in-law Joan (Walter, deceased) Carthen and Donna (Don, deceased) Robinson, brother-in-law Darrel (MaryAnn) Robinson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her mama Mary and daddy Steve Chomicki, mother-in-law Ruby and father-in-law Fletcher Robinson, as well as sister-in-law Bert (Roy) Ellis, both deceased.
Betty Anne was born December 19, 1941 in Lethbridge where she spent her entire life. She and Garry recently celebrated 55 years of marriage on September 15, 2017. She loved working in her beautiful backyard garden, cutting the grass in the summer and shoveling the snow in the winter.
At Betty Anne’s request, no formal funeral service will be held.

Nick is survived by his loving wife Barbara, daughter Nancy (Robert) Pike of Calgary and son Ken (Starr) Zaychuk of Coalhurst as well as three siblings, Bill (Ila) Zaychuk of Coalhurst, Steve (Marilynn) Zaychuk of Calgary, Mary (Wally) Mysyk of Winnipeg MB, as well as nieces and nephews.
Nick is predeceased by his parents, Anthony & Katherine, brothers George, Michael, John “Jack” and sister Nina.
