Elks lose to Lakers

The Lethbridge Elks lost a pair of American Legion games Sunday.

In Kalispell to take on the Lakers, the Elks were defeated 8-1 in the first game and lost the second game 7-3.

Kale Penner took the loss in the first game, while Chase Florendine was saddled with the loss in the second game.

The Elks remain on the road Wednesday when they travel to Medicine Hat to take on the Monarchs.

The team returns home Friday and Saturday when they host the Missoula Mavericks.

Friday’s game is at 7 p.m. at Spitz Stadium, while Saturday’s game goes at 1 p.m.
