The Catholic Central Cougars and the LCI Rams football teams won’t just be battling each other on the field tonight.

As the team hit the gridiron during Southern Alberta High School Football League Division A play at 7 p.m. at the University of Lethbridge Stadium, there’s another statistic both sides will be looking to win.

Tonight’s game will also double as the Tackle Hunger Event with proceeds going toward the Interfaith Food Bank.

Fans attending tonight’s game are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations with the team with the most food/cash donations winning the Tackle Hunger Event.

The game is one of four on the slate tonight.

The Pincher Creek Mustangs host Bow Valley this afternoon at 4 p.m., while in Cardston the Cougars take on the Winston Churchill Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m.

In Taber, the W.R. Myers Rebels welcome the Chinook Coyotes to town at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, the Raymond Comets host an exhibition game against Okotoks Foothills at 2 p.m. at Victoria Park Comet Stadium.
