PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — Shane Smith knocked in the game-winning goal at 4:04 of overtime to lift the Lethbridge Hurricanes to a 2-1 victory over the Prince Albert Raiders on Wednesday in Western Hockey League action.
Brayden Yager netted the game-tying marker at 16:24 of the third period for Lethbridge (37-19-2-1), which won its third straight game. Jackson Unger stopped 26 shots.
Linden Burrett opened the scoring for Prince Albert (33-19-4-1) at 4:43 of the first period. Max Hildebrand kicked out 30 shots.
The two sides combined to go 0-for-9 on the power play.
