It’s time for UCP to have a leadership review

By Letter to the Editor on October 8, 2020.

With the UCP annual general meeting coming up in October, it’s time for the UCP to have a leadership review.

The recent Angus Reid Poll is proof Kenney is leading with an attitude of “privilege and entitlement.” Did the Conservatives forget about 2015 already?

They must show Kenney the same door they threw Redford through or ride the elevator as it crashes to the bottom.

Well said Les . They would be damn fools if they didn’t kick him out, like they did with Klein also. Everything he is promising to do to us will effect them also.

Southern Albertan

It would not be certain whether a change in UCP leadership would bring more understanding of the now, toxic ultra right wing populist authoritarian UCP politics. It is not the same as the once, more inclusive, fiscal conservatism of the Lougheed days. Since then Alberta has gone a-end over financial teakettle. No wonder Premier Prentice said Albertans needed to look at themselves in the mirror. Trouble is, have enough Albertans ‘looked at themselves in the mirror?’

I fully agree with you. We have got to get rid of these damn Reformers as the MLAs from the Lougheed era taught me. They can’t be trusted.
