Southern Alberta Crime Stoppers is raffling off an opportunity to soar through the sky at Mach 1 in a jet fighter.
The L39 Albatross jet fighter will be one of the premier performers at the 2015 Lethbridge International Air Show, and one lucky passenger will find out just what itâ€™s like to pull up to four Gs while twisting and turning through the air at 800 mph.
Â In addition to the one-person flight in the jet fighter, the first-prize package also includes two Meet and Greet passes with cast members of Discovery TVâ€™s Air Show, two tickets to the Lethbridge International Air Show and two tickets to the wrap-up BBQ to mix and mingle with the performers after the event. This incredible prize package is valued at $5,000!
Second prize is a flight for one in a B17 bomber. Climb aboard the bomber that became known as WWIIâ€™s Flying Fortress. Second prize also includes two tickets to the Air Show and two tickets to the wrap-up BBQ. This prize package is valued at $2,500.
Winners will be drawn July 15 and the flights will take place July 23 or 24 during the day.

Tickets will also be sold at the Farmerâ€™s Market at the Exhibition June 20, 2015 from 8 a.m. until noon.
For those whoâ€™d prefer to keep both feet on the ground, the 2015 Air Show Wrap-Up BBQ will give attendees the opportunity to mix and mingle with this yearâ€™s performers. The BBQ goes Saturday, July 25 at the 20th Independent Field Battery, Vimy Ridge Armoury (337 Stubb Ross Road).
Tickets cost $40 each or $280 for a table of 8 and include a steak dinner and all the fixings plus an evening of live entertainment by Soup of Flies.
