Police did not locate a suspicious package at the Spruce Manor Apartment building.
The complex, which was previously evacuated as a safety precaution, has been cleared and residents are now able to return, according to the Lethbridge Regional Police Service. Roads in the area have also been re-opened, as police thanked the public for avoiding the area while officers were on scene.
Investigation in the matter is ongoing, and based on additional information, police will now be checking a Canada Post distribution centre located along the 3400 block of 23rd Avenue South.
Police had been investigating a report of a possible suspicious package at the apartment complex, and were on scene in the area along the 2100 block of Palm Road South.
As a precaution, the apartment building was evacuated, and roads in the vicinity were closed.
