The Galt Museum and Archives didn’t have to dig too deep into their archival materal to plan their Top 5 Family Programs lineup, which kicked off Tuesday.

The Galt spent the last bit of 2017 determining their five most popular programs from the past year’s Saturdays at 1:00 and Summer Family Fun programming.

With support of the Green Acres Kiwanis Club of Lethbridge, the Galt will reintroduce one of their top five 2017 programs to help keep families busy during the winter break.

The program launched Tuesday with Paper Airplanes and will continue everyday from 1 to 3 p.m. until Saturday.

The lineup for today is Sock Puppets, where families will create their own sock puppet to take home for hours of playtime.

Guests will be able to try their hand at art with Watercolour Painting on Thursday.

On Friday, participants will make a felted bar of soap while they learn more on the fur trade during Felted Soap – Get your hands wet and soapy!

To wrap up the Top 5 Family Programs, guests will spend Saturday learning the history of mosaics before creating their own masterpiece to take home during Paper Mosaics.

Regular admission fees will be applied to participate.
