Supporting fight against Huntington’s disease

LETHBRIDGE HERALD

Huntington’s disease is an inherited brain disorder for which there is no treatment.

But there is something people can do.

The sale of amaryllis flowers helps support research into Huntington’s disease in an effort to find a treatment. Those who support the annual campaign by purchasing the flowers are thereby helping to provide hope for the individuals and their families who are affected by the disorder.

Amaryllis kits are now available and can be purchased for $15 each. The kits include a high-quality Orange Sovereign bulb, growing instructions, soil, pot and saucer. Blooms will appear six to eight weeks after planting. To order, call 403-329-9343. The kits can be picked up or will be delivered.
