Fountain Tire is once again teaming up with the Lethbridge Hurricanes to celebrate local difference makers.
Fountain Tire “3 Stars” was created to recognize community members for their volunteerism, humanitarianism and generosity. In hockey, stars of each game are awarded for their outstanding performance on the ice. The Fountain Tire 3 Stars program provides an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate members of the community who make an impact.
Fountain Tires 3 Stars, working with WHL and OHL teams in 21 cities across Canada, will honour three locals who make a difference in the lives of others.
Last year, Fountain Tire celebrated a broad range of difference makers including teachers, firefighters, fundraisers and hockey parents. Among them were Lethbridge’s long-time volunteer Nicole Ringer, who actively supports the Community Income Tax program and the Taber Lost Paws Society; transit driver Mike Miller, who plays Hurricanes games on the bus so his passengers can follow the action; and volunteer driver and dedicated friend, Robert May.
Lethbridge residents can nominate this year’s local three stars until Nov. 30 by going online at FountainTire3Stars.com.
