Lethbridge Police are investigating after a masked man attempted to rob a northside pharmacy Thursday morning.
At about 10 a.m., police say they responded to a report of a robbery at Norbridge Pharmacy along the 700 block of 23 Street North. Investigation, police said in a news release Thursday afternoon, determined a masked man entered the pharmacy and demanded narcotics.
Staff refused and the subject fled on foot.
At approximately 2 p.m., police say a masked man, matching the description from the Norbridge incident, entered the Prescription Centre West Pharmacy along Jerry Potts Boulevard. As he approached the counter, staff told him to get out and he left the business without incident.
The suspect in both incidents is described by police as a Caucasian male, approximately 25-30 years old, five-foot-six to five-foot-eight tall, wearing a black mask, green camouflage hooded sweater, black pants and black shoes.
