The University of Lethbridge will be hosting a Light Touch Switch build-a-thon on Thursday evening in partnership with Neil Squire’s Makers Making Change and the Agility Innovation Zone.
Light Touch Switch is made from 3D printed parts which will be assembled by volunteer participants to allow one-finger control of various technological devices such as a tablet or Xbox controllers. The intent of the build-a-thon, according to Makers Making Change, is to connect volunteer “makers” to people in our community who need assistive technologies.
The Light Touch Switch build-a-thon will take place in the Agility Innovation Zone, Room SA6304, at University of Lethbridge starting at 6 p.m.
