Lethbridge School Division officials issued a statement Friday afternoon in relation to a CBC report earlier this week titled “Former employees laun-ch bullying accusations against Lethbridge principal.”
The CBC story is in reference to LCI principal Wayne Pallett. Four current or former unnamed staff members accuse Pallett of bullying behaviour in the last five years.
“Lethbridge School Division is aware of allegations brought against an employee within the Division,” the statement reads.
“When concerns are presented to Lethbridge School Division, the division is committed to proceeding in accordance with policies and procedures. Any investigations conducted include a thorough and fair process. Lethbridge School Division can not comment specifically on matters relating to personnel. The division will not have any further comment on the matter.”
