Homeowners and building professionals can learn how to make their next new home and commercial building or renovation more energy efficient, comfortable and healthier, even in Alberta’s cold winter climate, with a one-day course being offered in Lethbridge by Passive House Alberta.
The course takes place Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Lethbridge Multicultural Centre, 421 6 Ave. S., in Hall A.
Passive House Alberta is a non-profit foundation offering industry-leading education and awareness tools about building sustainability using the Passive House model for all Albertans including government, builders, developers, architects and homeowners. Passive House (Passivhaus) is considered to be the most rigorous voluntary energy-based standard in the design and construction industry today.
