The Lethbridge Region Economic Recovery Task Force has announced a partnership with mobile technology company GetintheLoop. This partnership works to assist Lethbridge and area businesses with promoting their available products and services during these unprecedented times.

Through this partnership, the Lethbridge Region Economic Recovery Task Force and GetintheLoop have created a Community Connections Program which has been established to provide free access to GetintheLoop’s mobile marketing platform for Lethbridge and regional businesses to reach local residents on their smartphones, over email and web, while their customers are practising social distancing.

“As the voice of businesses in the Lethbridge area, we saw our members need to communicate to the public during these challenging business conditions,” says Cyndi Vos, Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce executive officer. “We wanted to expand our support to provide Lethbridge and area businesses with free access to GetintheLoop’s platform as a way to help them stay connected to area residents with offers and information about how we can support them now and as our community recovers.”

The program will provide residents with a source of accurate and relevant local business information as well as dynamic offers such as delivery or curbside pickup options, gift card programs, online classes and, most importantly, incentives and offers to support local businesses now, when they need it the most.

“We’re thrilled to partner with a community-minded organization like the Lethbridge Region Economic Recovery Task Force, who can use our technology to help the community stay connected, and support local entrepreneurs during this critical time,” says Matt Crowell, GetintheLoop Founder and CEO.

Residents can download the GetintheLoop’s free app and register to receive email and push notification updates directly to your phone. If you are a local business in the Lethbridge area and would like to claim your free business listing on GetintheLoop’s mobile app and web-based platform, contact glen.lengyel@getintheloop.ca
