North access to Henderson Park west parking lot closed

Effective today, the north access to the west parking lot of Henderson Park will be closed to the public to facilitate the next phase of the Henderson Park Irrigation Replacement construction project. Access to the west parking lot will be maintained via Mayor Magrath Drive South.
Areas on the north section of this parking lot will be fenced off as construction progresses, the City said in a news release. It is anticipated this closure will be in place until Oct. 30.
Motorists and park users are advised to navigate the area with caution and respect the construction fencing, signs, equipment and workers.
The north parking lot off of Parkside Drive South that has been used as the staging area to date will now be fully reopened to the public as construction is complete on the east side of the park.
