Raymond town councillor passes away

The Town of Raymond has announced the passing of Councillor Ralph Price on Oct. 17.

Price was elected to council in October 2017 and since that time served on various boards and committees such as the Town’s audit and finance committee, Inter-municipal Collaboration Framework Committee, Inter-Municipal Development Plan Committee, Joint Fire Services, Emergency Management, Canadian Badlands and Tourism & Economic Development.

Price was a professional accountant and partner at Price & Comin. He also served on several community groups, such as the Raymond Chamber of Commerce, the Raymond Rotary Club and within his church.

“Ralph was a tremendous advocate for the public on our council,” said Raymond Mayor Jim Depew. “He was an integral part of our council and he will be greatly missed.”
