The Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation’s Best Of The Christmas Tree Festival is underway now online until Dec. 12, following the cancellation of its annual Christmas Tree Festival due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event is highly anticipated every holiday season, but as with all mass gatherings this year, it simply cannot occur, the foundation said in a news release. However, in lieu of the in-person event, the foundation still intends to celebrate the spirit of the holidays by highlighting all of its best-decorated trees from the last five years through its social media channels.
“The Tree Festival really is the kickoff to the Christmas season here in Lethbridge,” says Jason VandenHoek, executive director of the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation. “While we can’t meet in person, we still want to share the Christmas spirit with the community and highlight the amazing supporters we’ve had in the past – who have made a tremendous impact at the Chinook Regional Hospital.”
The foundation recognized long-time presenting sponsor and friend, Stringam LLP, which will continue to sponsor the event this year, despite the change of structure.
For those who are able, the foundation will continue to accept any and all donations. The donations and continuous support ensure that the Foundation can sustain health-care services’ greatest needs and keep patients close to home with the best care possible.
Follow the foundation on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and tag along the Best Of The Christmas Tree Festival, presented by Stringam LLP, running every day from Nov. 12 to Dec 12 are highlighted.
