A Lethbridge woman and a Calgary man who were charged following a drug bust in September are scheduled to return to court later this month.
Jamie Anthony Copeland’s matter was in Lethbridge provincial court Thursday, but simply adjourned for two weeks, when co-accused Adelina Christine Adams is also scheduled for a hearing to speak to her charges.
Copeland, 38, is charged with three counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000. Adams, 28, is charged with three counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.
On Sept. 18, following a police investigation by members of the priority crimes unit, officers searched a southside hotel room and seized about 70 grams of cocaine, 46 grams of fentanyl, 9.6 grams of methamphetamine and over $2,800 in cash. The combined value of the drugs is about $16,800.
Both are scheduled for court appearances Nov. 19.
