Dane Dobbie’s eight points lead Calgary Roughnecks past Georgia Swarm 14-13

CALGARY – Dane Dobbie scored four times and added four assists as the Calgary Roughnecks edged the Georgia Swarm 14-13 on Friday in National Lacrosse League action.

Curtis Dickson had four goals and set up two others for Calgary (9-8), while Riley Loewen had a pair of goals. Rhys Duch, Jesse King, Dan Taylor and Tyson Bell rounded out the attack.

Christian Del Bianco made 35 saves for the win.

Holden Cattoni struck four times for Georgia (12-5), while Zed Williams and Miles Thompson each had a hat trick. Shayne Jackson scored and added five assists, while Lyle Thompson scored twice with five assists.

Mike Poulin stopped 17-of-26 shots in 27:21 of work before getting pulled in favour of Kevin Orleman, who turned aside 26-of-31 in relief.
