DAY RIDER
APRIL ROSE “ROZIE” DAY RIDER, of the Blood Reserve, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Monday, June 19th, 2017 at the age of 45 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving father Johnny Day Rider, her “Ma” Aggy, her precious daughter Ashley and beloved granddaughters Scarlett and Paris. She is also survived by her siblings: Lisa (Gary), Norma-Jean, Johnny Jr. (Tammy), Vernon (Candace), Andy Jr. (Randi), JB (Lisa), Tommy (Lisa), Anita and Cindy (Tim).
April was predeceased by her grandma, Rosie Day Rider.
A Family Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB. on Thursday, June 22nd, 2017 at 5:00 P.M.
A Wake Service will be held at SENATOR GLADSTONE HALL – Blood Reserve, AB, on Thursday, June 22nd, 2017 from 7:00 P.M. – 11:00 P.M.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of ELVA MARION GRAHAM, (formerly Buchanan, nee Easterbrook) at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, June 12, 2017.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Alan, daughter Beverley (Cliff) Maron, son Roland (Frances), step-children Dick (Joanne) LeMaistre, Jean Wiekle and Margot (Terry) Mack, grandchildren, Scott (Kara) Maron, Matthew (Heather) Maron, Ryan (Patty) Van Gilder, Sheree (Shannon) Buchanan-Pacholuk, Thomas (Nadine) Buchanan, Alicia Gray and Graham (Renee) Fix. She also will be missed by her great grandchildren, Rachel, Garth, Hunter, Haylee, Helena, Hollie, Jack, Isla and Alexander. Elva is predeceased by her first husband Thomas Peters Buchanan.
A Memorial Service celebrating Elva’s life will be held at WESTLAWN FUNERAL HOME, 16310 Stony Plain Road N.W., Edmonton, on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow the service.

LENZ
ARTHUR LARAND LENZ, beloved husband of Pat (Allred) Lenz, passed away in Stavely, Alberta on Friday, June 16, 2017 at the age of 66 years. He is the son of the late John Joseph (Jody) Lenz is predeceased by his sister Kara Lenz (Glenn). He is survived by his mother Donna Draper Lenz Henderson, sisters Darla Lenz Lallier (Louis), Denae Lenz Lallier (Barry Wilson), April Henderson Palmer (Monte) and 7 grandchildren.
LaRand was a kind, gentle person who loved people, especially his family and his grandchildren. He had a special bond with his nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed. LaRand had many talents and could fix almost anything. His employment included everything from an LPN, addictions councillor, construction worker and truck driver.
The funeral service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Cardston Alberta Stake Centre (338 – 5 Ave East) on Friday June 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Friends may meet the family at the Church on Friday from 1:00 to 1:45 PM prior to the service. Interment to follow in the Hill Spring Cemetery.

SULLIVAN
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of PATRICK “SULLY” SULLIVAN, who passed away peacefully on Monday June 19, 2017 in Lethbridge at the age of 74 after a long battle with Lymphoma. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Betty Jean Sullivan; daughter Megan (Scott) Routly of Calgary; two granddaughters Taylor Routly and Shay Routly of Calgary; brother Tim Sullivan of Lethbridge and sister Shannon (Jim) Dunlop of Olds as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Len and Helen Sullivan of Lethbridge and his sister Judy (Bill) Brown of Dundas.
Sully had worked at the Lethbridge Herald for 38 years, both as a sports and entertainment editor before retiring in 1999. He spent his retirement time golfing and with family and friends. Sully was known for his laughter, love of life, telling jokes and stories, loving sports and for his immense love of his four girls.
Sully did not want a funeral (he had “attended too many of those in the past few years”). An open house will be held at the ITALIAN CANADIAN CULTURAL CENTRE, 1511 – St. Edward Blvd. N, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. to celebrate his life. Sully’s request is for everyone to tell a joke or funny story in his honour.
