Albert Bleile

1940 – 2019

Mr. Albert Bleile of Coaldale passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the age of 79 years. Cremation has been entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.

ISABEL JOHNSON

Isabel was born at Dodsland, Sask. On July 13, 1942 and passed in Lethbridge on October 14, 2019. She was raised on the family farm near Dodsland and attended College and University in Saskatoon. Isabel taught at school in several Saskatchewan communities. She married James William Johnson (Bill) on August 12, 1968 in Kindersley, Sask. They moved to Fort Macleod from Saskatchewan in 1974. From 1970 until the early 1980s Isabel was a homemaker. She began a new career working at Sunshine Kids Daycare once her children were in school. After retirement, Isabel volunteered with Project Read. Isabel was predeceased by her husband Bill, her father, John Lowes, mother, Dorothy Campbell, stepfather, Jack Campbell, brothers Don and Jack Lowes, her parents in law George and Lucy Johnson, her sister in laws Willomine and Julie and brother in laws Ron, Keith, Tom. She is survived by her children Natalie and Mark and by her grandchildren Samantha and Sean Mortensen, by her sister Dorothy, her sister in laws Carol, Dora, Pauline, Pat and by numerous extended family. The family would like to thank all those who assisted in caring for Isabel the past two years of her life. In lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army or the Heart and Stroke Assoc. would be much appreciated. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday October 19, 2019 at Eden’s Funeral Home, 2424 5th Ave, Fort Macleod, AB A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 P.M. MATTHEWS

Bruce Matthews loving husband to Margareta Matthews, father to Stan Matthews (Lana) and Ingrid Matthews, grandfather to Kyla and Aleena Matthews, passed away peacefully in St. Michaels Palliative Care on October 7th, 2019 at the age of 85 years. Bruce is also survived by his loving English family, Joyce Evans, Derek Lane (Dorothy) and Julie Newman (Gary).

Bruce was born in England in 1934, he traveled the world with the British Merchant Navy prior to meeting the love of his life and moving to Sweden to marry and start a family. Bruce immigrated to Canada with his family in 1975. His passion in life was soccer where he was actively involved in the sport in Southern Alberta for over forty years. Bruce is affectionately known by many as coach.

A celebration of Bruce’s life will be held on October 19th, 2019 at 2pm held at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral home at 703 – 13 Street N.

STOLTE

MICHAEL WALTER STOLTE, of Lethbridge, passed away from a sudden heart attack at home on Friday, October 4th, 2019 at the age of 56 years.

Michael is survived by his mother Betty & father Fred, sons Justin Freedom and Philip Hadford, brothers Mark (Sandra), Myron (Shannon) and Jason (Tabitha); as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Michael was born in Lethbridge and completed his high school in Stirling. After high school, Michael worked in the cattle industry on various ranches and feedlots in southern Alberta. Michael then went to work in the oil patch as a roughneck and eventually worked his way up to driller for both Precision Drilling and Wilson Drilling.

When not working, Michael enjoyed riding his Harley and making deposits in the memory bank.

A stroke in December of 2013 prevented Michael from returning to full-time work; however, he kept busy doing odd jobs around his apartment complex, helping his friends and “pestering” his mother.

Michael will be laid to rest with his maternal grandparents in Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge, during a private ceremony. Family & friends are welcome to a Celebration of Life service at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, on Saturday, October 26th at 11:00 A.M.

1925 – 2019
