WOOD, Forest “Kay” WOOD June 9, 1930 – February 21, 2026 FOREST KAY WOOD passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 21, 2026, in Raymond, Alberta at the age of 95. Kay is survived by his wife Mary Wood and his children: Janice (Patrick) Zezula, Ronald, Linda (Donald) O’Brien, Mark (Denise), and Kathy (Jason) Broadhead, along with their children and grandchildren. He is also survived by Mary’s family: Todd (Jenny) Bevans, Wade (Karen) Bevans, Stacy (Dallin) Leavitt, Shelly (Jim) Spackman, Lisa (Darrel) Zaugg, David (Lynn) Bevans, Kris (Rick) Olsen and Heidi (Scott) Harris, along with their children and grandchildren. Kay is survived by his brother, Kent (Pat), his brother-in-law Bryce (Marilyn) Hansen, brother-in-law, Bernie Jensen, and sister-in-law, Faith Wood. He was predeceased by his sweetheart, Carol Jean, his daughter Carolyn Kay, grandson, Jared Kay Cramp, son-in-law John Cramp and great-granddaughter, Ayla Tippie. Kay will be remembered for his steady faith, his devotion to family, his quiet strength, and his lifelong love of the Lord. His legacy lives on in the many generations who call him father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be missed by so many! The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 7 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cardston Alberta West Stake Center (846 1st Ave West) Cardston, AB. Friends may meet the family from 10:00 – 10:45 am prior to the service. Interment will take place in the Cardston Cemetery.

LAPOINTE, Clara LAPOINTE CLARA ANNA LAPOINTE, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Ernest Lapointe, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at St. Michael’s Health Centre on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at the age of 87 years.
A Prayer Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2825 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. with Sharon Hagel officiating.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH – 2405 12 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. with Father Kevin Tumback celebrating. The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed and may be viewed through Clara’s obituary on the Cornerstone website.
Clara will be laid to rest in Mountain View Cemetery.
