Bantam AAA Golden Hawks go 0-2 in Calgary trip

The Lethbridge Val Matteotti bantam AAA Golden Hawks lost a pair of 
games in Calgary in Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League play on the 
weekend.
The Golden Hawks were topped 3-1 by the Challenger South-leading 
Calgary Bisons Saturday and 4-1 by the Calgary Flames on Sunday.
The losses puts Lethbridge at 10-13-6 as the team remains in fourth 
place in the Ram South Division.
On Saturday against the Bisons, John Vanden Elzen scored for 
Lethbridge, while goaltender Ty Young stopped 35 shots.
Zach Rajcic was the Golden Hawks goal scorer in Sunday’s loss.
Carter Capton stopped 28 shots.
The Golden Hawks return home for a pair of games this weekend.
On Saturday, the Airdrie Xtreme are at Nicholas Sheran Arena at 5:45 
p.m., while on Sunday the Golden Hawks entertain the Fort Saskatchewan 
Rangers, who lead the Challenger North Division at 18-5-6.
