The Lethbridge Speed Skating Association will be holding its annual Bridge Bolt next Saturday and Sunday.
The two-day short track meet will take place at the ATB Centre with skaters from around the province skating in distances ranging from 100m to 3,000m.
Racing starts at approximately 9 a.m. each day. Skaters will race in L2T (Learning-to-Train), T2T (Training-to-Train) and Open Divisions and skating will wrap up mid-afternoon each day.
The Bridge Bolt is one of two meets used to qualify Zone 1 speed skaters for the Alberta Winter Games in February 2020.
The public are welcome to attend and the event is free of charge.
