The Lethbridge Hurricanes had a bit of a stats night on the weekend.
The Canes hit double digits in an 11-2 win over the Red Deer Rebels in Western Hockey League play Saturday night in Red Deer.
Leading the number crunching was Hurricanes veteran defenceman Calen Addison, who registered his first career hat trick to give him seven goals on the season.
D-Jay Jerome added two goals and Koletrane Wilson, Noah Boyko, Dylan Cozens, Justin Hall, Logan Barlage and Trevor Thurston added one each as the Hurricanes scored five times in the first period and three times in the second and third periods.
Cozens added four assists for a five-point night and Boyko,Thurston and Barlage added two helpers for three points. Hall and Wilson each had an assist for two points.
Danila Palivko, Oliver Okuliar and Alex Cotton each had two assists.
Bryan Thomson stopped 26 of 28 shots to earn the win.
Ethan Anders got the start in goal for the Rebels, but was pulled with 3:58 left in the first.
Claresholm product Byron Fancy came in until early in the third before Red Deer head coach Brent Sutter swapped the goaltenders two more times each in a little under seven minutes. Anders came back in at the 7:16 mark and played the rest of the game.
The Hurricanes are home Wednesday night when the Regina Pats visit the Enmax Centre at 7 p.m.
