The Nanette Dupont rink remains undefeated at the Canadian Curling Club Championship in Leduc.
Dupont and her Lethbridge Curling Club and Alberta representative rink of third Samantha Davies, second Kendra Nakagama and lead Avice DeKelver defeated Newfoundland and Labrador 9-3 Wednesday morning and downed B.C. 9-2 in the afternoon draw to move to 4-0.
Against Newfoundland and Labrador, Dupont scored two in the first and added four in the third and three in the fifth for a 9-2 lead as the teams shook hands after the sixth end.
Another quick start set the table for Dupont’s fourth win as the Alberta rink put up two in the first end and then stole two in the second and one in the third and fourth ends for a 6-0 lead.
B.C. got two back in the fifth end to make it 6-2, but Dupont added three more in the sixth to round out the scoring and end another game after the sixth end.
Dupont looks to keep the winning streak going today when they take on Nunavat at 8:30 a.m. and Nova Scotia at 8:30 p.m.
