On Wednesday, the Horns announced the signing of defenceman Emma Neff.

The five-foot-eight native of Calgary is in her third season with the Midget AAA Calgary Fire in the Alberta Female Hockey League. In 14 games this season she has two goals and four points.

In each of the last two seasons, Neff has played in 30 games for the Fire. Last season she scored two goals and four assists. In her first season with the Fire she had two goals and two assists.

This past summer, Neff was invited to the Alberta Hockey U18 Summer Camp.

Neff is the second signing for the 2020-21 season for the Pronghorn women’s hockey team following the commitment of Mallory Dyer from the Edge Academy.

The Pronghorns return to conference action Jan. 3-4 when they host the Regina Cougars at Nicholas Sheran Arena.
