The Lethbridge Hurricanes will end the decade on a winning note.

The Canes defeated the Swift Current Broncos 3-1 in Western Hockey League Monday night in Swift Current.

The win keeps the Hurricanes in second place in the Central Division at 23-10-0-5.

After blanking the Broncos 6-0 Saturday night at the Enmax Centre, the Hurricanes completed the home-and-home with three unanswered goals after falling behind 1-0 after the first period.

The guys who did the damage Saturday night showed up again Monday as Logan Barlage scored on the power play for his second goal in as many games and Justin Hall potted the game-winner midway through the third and added an empty-netter with eight seconds remaining to give him eight goals this season.

Barlage, who now has 13 goals, added an assist and has six points in his last two games and 15 in his last 10 games.

Hall had a goal and an assist Saturday night and has a four-game point streak with six points over that span.

Carl Tetachuk got the start in goal for the Hurricanes, stopping 27 of 28 shots to improve his record to 13-6-0-5 this season.

The Hurricanes power play was 1-for-3, while the Broncos were 0-for-2.

Lethbridge heads into 2020 with a two-game homestand.

The Seattle Thunderbirds are here Friday night followed by the Calgary Hitmen Saturday.

Game time is 7 p.m. both nights at the Enmax Centre.
