Magrath Pandas downed the Taber W.R. Myers Rebels 79-43 in Southern Alberta Girls Basketball League play on Wednesday.
Macie Wocknitz led all scorers with 28 points for the Pandas while Hattie Ogden added 14.
Anika Steed replied with 10 points for the Rebels.
In junior varsity play, Magrath defeated Myers 56-38 as Abi Payne hit for 18 points while Katie Blackmore and Ogden added 14 and 11 respectively.
Myers replied with nine points from Madison Layton and eight from Bryanne Jones.
In other action, Raymond Comets rolled to a 104-44 victory over the Catholic Central Cougars behind 18 points from Taylor Ralph and 17 by Kyra Collier. Kelby Terry chipped in with 15 points and Abby Graves followed with 13.
Aimee Baron replied with 10 points for the Cougars and Jordan Goruk added seven.
At LCI, the host Clippers used 16 points from Darby Scott and 15 apiece from Annah Westrop and Presley Heggie to defeat the Medicine Hat High Kwahommies 83-46. Maddi Boehme added 14 in the win.
Hanna Salmon and Hailee Parker replied with 12 apiece for the Kwahommies.
Medicine Hat won the JV game 60-53 as Janine Jonker scored 15 points and Hayley Heidinger added 14.
Kenzie Kutsch scored 23 points in a losing cause.
SOUTHERN ALBERTA 4A BOYS
In Southern Alberta 4A Boys play Tuesday, Cardston Cougars dropped the Winston Churchill Bulldogs 105-72 as Rhett Lewis scored 23 points and Braxon Scott added 18. Isaac Atwood and Kody Janisko chipped in with 14 points each and Draysn Card had 11.
Tyreese Russell replied with 16 points for the Bulldogs and Polo Los Banes added 15.
In the JV contest, Cardston defeated Churchill 78-46 as Hyrum Scott tossed in 28 points while Mitch Nelson and Mitch Fracis added 18 and 15 respectively. Colton Palmer chipped in with 10.
Phillippe Martin led Churchill with 12 points and Ryker Morrell added 10.
