The University of Lethbridge Pronghorns men’s basketball team’s offence was clicking yet again, but it wasn’t enough to derail the Calgary Dinos.

The Horns were topped 105-90 by the defending Canada West champion Dinos in Canada West play Thursday night in Calgary.

The loss puts the Pronghorns at 4-9, while the Dinos remain undefeated at 11-0.

Heading into Thursday’s game, the Pronghorns were ranked fourth in the conference, scoring 88.3 points per game.

They topped their average, but the Dinos and their top-ranked offence kept a step ahead to remain perfect in the early-going of the second semester.

A scoresheet was unavailable at press time.

In the women’s game, the Horns kept it close with the Dinos, trailing 34-33 at the half, but came up eight points shy of pushing Calgary into the loss column for the first time this year as the Dinos won 74-66 to move to 11-0.

The Horns are 6-7 with the loss.

Kacie Bosch and Katie Keith each registered a double-double for Lethbridge.

Bosch had 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Keith added 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Jessica Haenni chipped in with 10 points for the Pronghorns.
