Local fighters earn decisions at Fight Night

Fight Night 12 took to the cage Saturday night at the Enmax Centre.
The nine-bout card featured some local talent as Cody Jerome and Lucas Neufeld earned wins in front of the hometown crowd.
Facing Chester Flores in the Pro Kickboxing title bout, Jerome won via KO/TKO at 2:52 of Round 1.
In the pro featherweight division, Neufeld defeated Cleve Bentley via submission at 4:48 of Round 1.
In the Pro Welterweight title bout, Chris Curtis defeated Darren Smith Jr. via KO/TKO at 5:00 of Round 4 and Florin Lupu defefeated Gilberto Aguilar in Bare Knuckle Boxing with a majority five-round decision.
In the other bouts Saturday, Melanie Hansen defeated Ami Lyczewski via KO/TKO at 3:00 of Round 1 in the Amateur Women’s Strawweight, while Kristopher Bryan defeated Josh Hopkins via submission at 54 seconds of Round 1 in the Amateur Middleweight bout.
In the Amateur Lightweight fight, Caden Boyce beat Nick Matthews in a unanimous three-round decision.
Adam Zekry defeated Derek Khosa in the Amateur Welterweight via KO/TKO at 1:05 of Round 2 and in the Pro Women’s Bantamweight Melissa Croden beat Elizabeth Schroder in a KO/TKO at 2:30 of Round 2.
