Arm wrestling tournament goes Saturday

The Lethbridge Arm Wrestling Club is holding its first LAWC Classic Armwrestling Tournament Saturday.
The one-day event is Saturday at the Royal Canadian Legion General Stewart Branch No 4.
Weigh-ins are tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday with the event beginning at noon.
Seven super matches are on the slate in addition to an amateur/pro/masters class, a women’s class and a youth class for ages six to eight and nine to 11.
Cost to compete is $25 an arm in the amateur/pro/masters class and women’s class and $10 in the youth class. Proceeds from the tournament will go to the Support The Veterans fund.
