Three out of the four Lethbridge Polytechnic Kodiak court teams dominated the Olds College Broncos over the weekend.
The women’s basketball team won 71-61 on Saturday after 61-51 win on Friday night onv home court to improve to 6-9 on the season.
Bailey Blackmore drained 19 points and Halle Aleman followed with 16 points in Saturday’s win.
Aleman drained 17 points followed by reserve player Layla Vaz, who scored 10 points for the Kodiaks on Friday to lead the way.
The Kodiak men swept Olds with a 79-62 win on Saturday after an 85-79 win on Friday at home.
Ryan Degner drained 20 points and Jackson Wright had 17 points in Friday’s win, while Cody Tollestrup collected 23 points in Saturday’s win.
The Kodiak men’s volleyball team headed to Olds and swept the Broncos over the weekend with a three-set win on Friday and a four-set win on Saturday.
The Kodiak women’s volleyball team lost both of their matches to Olds in five sets.
Pronghorns
The University of Lethbridge Pronghorns men’s basketball team split their games at the University of Saskatchewan over the weekend to improve their record to 10-4.
Angelo Mbituyimana and Jack-Henry Fox-Grey had 22 points and 17 points respectively to lead the Horns offence in Friday’s 81-74 loss to the Huskies.
In Saturday’s 72-52 win, the Horns Lu Dalil had 17 points and Fox-Grey had 13 points.
The Horn women’s team dropped both of their games at the U of S to drop their record to 6-8 on the season.
In Friday’s 82-62 loss, Courtney McKee and Tobore Okome each had 15 points.
On Saturday in the 84-4 loss, McKee had 15 points to lead the way for U of L.
