Each of Lethbridge’s AAA elite hockey teams had tie and a loss over the weekend.
U18AAA
The U18AAA Canes opened their weekend with a 5-2 loss to the Calgary NW Flames on Saturday.
Damen Vanderberg and Hayden Iron Shirt scored for the Canes in the loss, while Brody Rotar stopped 25-of-30 Flame shots.
Lethbridge tied the Calgary Buffaloes 3-3 on Sunday.
Vanderberg, Kayson Christian and Jake Demone scored for the Hurricanes and Calder Graham saved 41-of-44 shots.
U17AAA
The Headwater Hurricanes settled for a 6-6 tie with the Leduc Oil Kings on Saturday.
Landon Ward paced the Canes with two goals, while Cohen Zasadny Devin Groenenboom, Ethan Scott and Barrett Van Nistelrooy added a goal each for Lethbridge.
Lucas Pasemko saved 30-of-36 shots in the Canes crease.
Lethbridge was then doubled up 4-2 by the St. Albert Flyers on Sunday.
Van Nistelrooy and Parker Fleishhauer scored in the loss.
Pasemko saved 41-of-45 in that game.
U15AAA
The Golden Hawks tied the Calgary Royals 2-2 on Friday night at home.
Briggs Fabro scored both goals and Chase Nielsen stopped 46-of-48 shots for Lethbridge.
Lethbridge then lost 6-2 to the Calgary NW Flames on Sunday.
Fabro and Jake Gerstenbuhler scored and Steele Anderson saved 49-of-55 shots for the Hawks in the loss.
