The University of Lethbridge Pronghorn curling teams had a tough day on Day 3 of competition at the U SPORTS/CCAA Curling Canada Curling Championships on Wednesday at the Lethbridge Curling Club.
The Horn women’s team dropped to a 1-4 record after losing their morning draw 7-2 to Guelph Gryphons and their afternoon draw 9-2 to the Dalhousie Tigers.
The women wrap up round-robin play today with a 12:30 p.m. draw against McMaster and an 8:30 p.m. match against Wilfred Laurier.
As for the Horn men’s team, they lost 8-2 to the Carleton Ravens in their first afternoon draw and their night game against Brock was still in progress as of deadline.
The U of L men (0-4) finish round robin play this morning against the Regina Cougars at 8:30 a.m. and the New Brunswick Reds this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
