Lethbridge city council on Tuesday reversed course on a recommendation made by the Economic and Finance Standing Policy Committee on financial reporting of the Lethbridge and District Exhibition.
The SPC, which consists of mayor and all members council, voted 7-2 on March 13 to that monthly reporting of the Lethbridge and District Exhibition finances be changed to quarterly reporting instead.
But the item was pulled by councillor Jenn Schmidt-Rempel who on Tuesday, like on March 13, opposed the change.
The motion failed on Tuesday after council  voted 5-4 against the change.
Voting against the change in the reporting schedule were Schmidt-Rempel along with fellow councillors Ryan Parker, Rajko Dodic, deputy mayor Nick Paladino and mayor Blaine Hyggen.

Sounds like typical City Councillors who don’t appreciate accountability or responsibility to the taxpayers of Lethbridge, who are starting to see their re-election possibilities completely diminished.
Where were you went citizens wanted answers, but you blocked them, allowed your bureaucrats to pander to your unreasonable perceived gaslighting?
Laughable.
