The Prairie Baseball Academy Dawgs opened up the home portion of their Canadian College Baseball Conference schedule over the weekend by sweeping a four game set with the Victoria Golden Tide.
On Saturday, PBA began with a 16-9 victory in the morning game, followed by a 12-7 win in the afternoon game.
Logan Heaney went 4-for-5 at the plate while scoring two runs and hit two RBIs to lead the way for PBA in the first game.
Ben Puszkar took the win after pitching three innings to finish the game, while allowing one run on two hits and striking out three.
Noah McNeil had himself a game in the afternoon game on Saturday where he went 3-for-3 at the plate, scored two runs and hit five RBIs.
Cody Graf picked up the win for the Dawgs after pitching the last four innings and allowing a run on three hits and striking out three batters.
PBA began the weekend with a 12-4 and a 12-11 win on Friday.
PBA improved to 8-4 on the season with the sweep and will have a week off before hosting the TRU Wolfpack for four games on April 19 and 20.
